Nickos Chimney Company is proud to be part of the Laurel Highlands.  The spectacular natural scenery is one of the main attractions in any season.  Across the highway from St. Vincent College, minutes from downtown Latrobe, (Home of the first banana split, Mr. Rogers, Arnie Palmer, the first professional football game was played in Latrobe and training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers.)

Getting here is easy; Nickos Chimney Company is just an hour’s drive east of Pittsburgh within easy access of the Pennsylvania Turnpike as well as Lincoln Highway (U.S.30).

The region features some of the most exhilarating outdoor recreation.  The Youghiogheny River offers whitewater rafting, the Great Allegheny Passage – the longest rail-trail in the east-, and the highly ranked Laurel Highland Hiking trail.  Golfers are offered a range of courses from the PGA course Mystic Rock to well-groomed public links for golfers of all skill levels.

Families not only love Hidden Valley and Seven Springs but Idlewild and SoakZone amusement parks are nearby. History buffs will not want to miss our impressive French & Indian Wars sites including Fort Necessity where George Washington’s military career began and Fort Ligonier where a key strategic battle of the French and Indian War occurred.

Do you enjoy museums and galleries? Why not stop by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater in Mill Run and Kentuck Knob in Chalk Hill.
