It is with great pleasure that Theresa and I write to you to let you know just how pleased we were with the installation of our new Freedom Bay insert. It has been six years in waiting and now, finally, we look at the beauty this insert has added to our family room.
    Of course, as with any homeowner, we were unsure of the "disaster" we would be left with after all of the work was done. We had envisioned dust and dirt throughout the whole house and hours of clean-up detail after all was said and done. SURPRISE! There was absolutely no mess what- soever! We were quite amazed at the neatness, and meticulous nature of the installers. Never had we seen workers take so much care in the preservation of the way our home appeared.
    We had talked to other companies that deal with woodburner units and we must say we were very glad we chose Nickos.
    To you, George, and the showroom staff, thank you for all your patience in answering all of our pre-purchase questions and all concerns that were addressed. Finally, to Burt and Barney ... THANKS ... for a job very well done!

This letter is sent regarding our recent installation of our fireplace, entertainment unit, and computer desk unit. We are quite pleased with the results.
    The fireplace is BEAUTIFUL! We have been putting it to use during these cool nights. The deco tile and brass set it off perfectly.
    The entertainment unit and computer desk unit are very functional and stylish! We love the adjustable shelves, the television shelf and the pull-out keyboard drawer! Many compliments to Barry for his innovative solution to the satellite connection!
    We would like to thank Barney, Mack, and Barry for their outstanding work during the installation process. They were all very courteous and professional while in our home. we are reminded daily of their talents as we relax in our family room.
    We would also like to thank the office support staff for their prompt response to our inquiries.
    Finally, we would like to thank George and Fred for their vision regarding the final product. In the initial meetings, both said a Nickos fireplace unit would look as if it were here when the house was originally built. They were certainly accurate.

This letter is long overdue, yet very necessary. On January 12th 1999 we purchased a Defiant Encore wood burning stove built by Vermont Castings from you. On February 15-17 the stove was installed into our residence.
    From the beginning, when we entered your showroom, Mr. Ray Sossong was very helpful and informative to enable us to make the decision that best suited our needs. His knowledge of the products and ability to understand our needs made our decision one that was easier to arrive at.
    When the price was more than we were budgeting for after George Spanos came to our home to give an estimate, he was willing to work with us on the price ... that greatly influenced us to go with you instead of any other competitor.
    As far as installation of the stove over the course of a couple of days, "Barney" and Barry were first class professionals. Their work was exacting with no margins for error. Always tidy and clean, yet getting the job done to our great satisfaction. Thanks, guys, for the excellent installation.

In recent times, companies have placed "service" somewhere in a file and locked away the key. I have purchased many items from many vendors over the last 10 years, but none has given me the satisfaction and service that I have received from your company, and in particular, Gina. Writing letters is not something that I enjoy doing, but in this case, I must make an exception.

We have had a couple of problems with our Vermont Casting Grill (burner and bottom half of the stand) weathering ahead of schedule. Gina was our contact for the problems. She was not only pleasant, but I never had to ask her anything twice. The problems were handled in the most customer friendly manner that I have seen in many occasions.
    It was a pleasure purchasing the equipment, and even more of a pleasure having the resulting problems resolved. Thank you very much for showing that customer service is still around (although tough to find). Recommending your company will come very easily.
